"IL MARZOLINO"  lies in on a hilly area - about 650 meters above sea level - offering  a panoramic view over the Apuan Alps and surrounded by green and chestnut woods, telling stories about the folk tradition, integral part of territory.

The house has been completely carefully restored, maintaining the ancient characteristics: wooden beam cellings and stone walls.

The house consists of a large bright kitchen, large dining-room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms, one of whom has an intermediate floor (5 beds+2), 2 bathrooms. At guests's disposal a covered verandah, equiped with table and chairs, swing bench, barbecue and wood-burning oven, the whole surrounded by a large garden.

Only 1km away from here lies Sillico, a medieval village once borderland between the duchy of Modena and the grand duchy of Tuscany. In July and August the village plunges into the medieval period, so that a revival of learning and old traditions with historical-gastronomical parties takes place.
